A STUDY IN BRONZE
The face of this yard sculpture caught my attention at a furniture store. I like its delicate features. Click on the photo to enlarge and see the details.
I was just walking around in those yard ornament places last weekend looking for a bench and an arbor. I didn't think to shoot there though. I did shoot some plants that were loaded with bees at a garden center, but they were too fast and I didn't have time to get good shots of them. It's fun to find things in ordinary everyday places.
Sue, This looks something I'd want in my garden, too. Some day! Love the contrast of the bronze against the dark wall. Great photo, as always. :) Paula
Hello, I have just posted a sculpture on my Hope Princeton Blog you should look at http://hopeprincetonhighway.blogspot.com, it is a little bigger than yours, this one wouldn't be in a furniture store.
What an interesting mouth. I'm not quite sure how to interpret it. That makes the sculpture worth looking at for a while, maybe worth having in ones garden.
I like taking my camera with me into stores too. I got two photos of Christmas bows and things on hooks at Walmart last year that I really like. Just never know what you'll come across.

very beautiful bronze portrait.
You did a good job getting her pretty features. I like the tones very much.
And I don't blame you for not getting up at 3am to see the eclipse! Don't know if I would have either.
Beautiful...the highlights work very well.
muy buena vision...
Lovely! Did you buy it? It would look great in your new back yard.

I really like this one. I never seem to be able to capture something like this for some reason. She looks so sweet.
