I came by to thank you for your visit to my blog and to thank you for the comment. And yes, these doves, like yuor rock doves are bad nest builders. It is a wonder any of them live. These build flat nests and there is little comfort in them. Some birds do fall out before they should and I always worry about them not making it but they are about as abundant as starlings if not more so.

I miss having little chubby hands and feet around the house, but my teenagers are still pretty cool. They can do many more chores now too! Love the bright pink dress in the photo.
