NO VEHICLES BEYOND THIS POINT
Several weeks ago our church had a fabulous summer camp Bible school with over 3000 kids in attendance.
The theme was Breakaway to the Galaxy. At the entrance to the church stood this magnificient rocket ship.
After the camp was over the ship was relegated to the back lot. I got a kick out of the sign posted just in front of the rocket. It seems that the rocket had to land and go no further.

3000 kids?! What a blessing!
Spiffy rocket. There's always a lot of energy that goes into our church's vacation bible school, and I'm always amazed at how many come every day. We have a small church and the place just fills up with kids. It's wonderful.
Wow! Where on earth did they get that thing?? LOL
The sign posted and the rocket ship make a fun picture. Glad you are enjoying the public art from Wichita. There's more to come.
haha....and i took took a double take on that number....3000!!! wow!
Are they coming by the mother ship?
Well, this rocket seems to had a clash landing...
I'm sure those kid had a wonderful time there.
I agree with the others gasping at the 3000 kids number! You must have a huge church. The rocket theme is great. And now you have a piece of artwork to remember it by.
That is a funny caption (and sign). Nice candid catch, Sue.
That is certainly a high quality looking ship! I'm sure it made the kids excited, I know I would have been.
Great capture! It reminds me of on of those graveyards for planes in Nevada.
It looks like the rocket did everything in it’s power not to break the rules!
Sue,
Nice try at my question, but not quite.
I'll post the answer later ;)
Wow how neat. Great Bible school theme.
That rocket looks like Luke Skywalker ran out of gas!
What a nice combination of sign and rocket/space ship.. :) :) That is really toooo funny... Great capture.. :) :) 3000 kids sounds like lots of drama to me... One and friends provides me with days of entertainment.. not sure what 3000 would provide you with!!! :) :) :)...Glad your church camp was successful and I am sure lots of fun!! :)
What a fitting sign for the rocket!
