DIGGING INTO THE ARCHIVES
This is not your usual view of the Empire State Building.
I love the architecture in New York and practically wore my camera out taking many shots.
Bear with me for a few days of past archival memories. I hope you will enoy them.
We are leaving for my sons again for several days. There is a property inspection scheduled for the home we are buying. I'll also get to take measurements and start figuring out what I will put where.

I love architectural photography. And yes,you can wear your camera out taking great photographs.
And this is a wonderful angle,it allows you to feel the immensity of the structure.
You can't beat a good NY buidling photo.
Funny how it always looks so different from street level. Last time I was up on the top, the WTC was just approaching completion.
I'm enjoying this travel through your archives immensely!
I wouldn't have known it was the Empire State Bldg if you hadn't revealed that.
You'll be having lots of conversations about what furniture to put where. I can almost hear you now.
Nice one, I like it.
I havent seen Empire State bldg in real life ever..but i remember it so fondly from the movie, Sleepless in Seattle...An affair to remember ...:)
I love the angle at which u have taken this...
comme toi, j'aime beaucoup l'architecture de cet immeuble. Mais maintenant pour la vue, je prefere aller au Top Of The Rock
like you, I like much the architecture of this building. But maintaining for the sight, I prefer outward journey with the Signal Of The Rock
its really great to travel with you with these archives.! We dont have high buildings like in the US so to me its just the same exotic as palm trees:)
Hello, I present my blog photographs to you on a small city : Martel. in the Quercy (the black perigord in France), the area of the foie gras and the omelette to boletus.
mon blog of photographs on the town of Martel.
Fun angle to really show the building off.
My favorite picture of the Empire State building is one my husband took. It's of our girls kissing it. (yes, he's a strange man)
It truly is a skyscraper, isn't it. Lovely photo.
I love this perspective. Great shot Sue.
Good sunny Friday morning, Sue!
The highest building, where I have been - only two weeks - was a hotel in Tokyo. Our room was in 24th floor and I saw from the window a stadium, where my husband was watching world championship and the Finnish man won
javelin-throw! My husband was so excited, when he came back. And I just said: "Yes, I saw it" Of course, I saw it only from TV.
Beautiful weekend to you and your family!
And many thanks for you comments on my blog.
I wish you the best on the inspection and how lovely New York is! I hope to see this building and many more some day!
i love it
nice architectural photography.
wow New York... or Nueva York like we say in Spain... I wish I could go there some day!
:) Have a great time with your son, and thank you for this great picture!
Really nice shot. I've never been to N.Y. but I've seen many photos of the Empire State Building. I wouldn't have recognized it though.
Lovely architectural shot. It does indeed look very different from a street level view.
A new, different, point of view
Excellente perspective!
nice perspective!
