SELF PORTRAIT
This is a picture of how I'm feeling today. Its all lines and curves and a mixture of things to be seen. Its pretty much a jumble.
Life has been so busy and nothing seems to go according to my husband's and my plans. So we just step back, take a deep breath and keep plugging along.
Much work is being accomplished and the house will be lovely in the end. All we need to do is survive and have a few more hours in the day.
I will post some pictures of our progress in a few days.
For the time being you will have to settle for another picture from my archives. This is a shot of the Williams Sonoma Store in Chicago, Illionois. I loved all the reflections from the outside and the escalators and banners inside.
Enjoy and thanks everyone for your nice comments.
Don't forget to click on the picture to enlarge and see the detail.

hope all the kinks are straightened out soon..... hang in there!!!
It is good to know you are still here. I hope everything turns to be OK/perfect at the end. Is that only me that looking you in the reflection?
I love everything going on here. I hope you feel less jumbled soon....
:) Take care Sue.
Hang tough! Even with all the curves that are being tossed in there, it will all work out in the end!
I always wanted to go to that store when I was in Chicago. I'd never seen it, till now.
You are busy, I know, as would anyone be doing all you are doing to prepare for your move. It'll all get done, you know, perfectly or not.
Neat Shot! That is one of the most interesting reflection shots I have seen. Neat the way you used it to describe your "life" right now. Hang in there you guys will make it.
Wedding went great, hope to share some shots from it.
I think I probably saw that place when I was in Chicago a few years ago.
Keep up the good work...I hope you get a breather soon and thanks for faithfully posting.
hope things settle soon - and great that you have the energy to post still despite the busy-ness =D
So sorry that things aren't going as planned right now...hope things come together for you soon. ;)
And about your photo...aaahhhh, the Williams Sonoma Store in Chicago is so fabulous. I'm not even going to think about it...but I DO hope to visit it this summer when we're there! :)

Isn't it odd how life throws us these curve balls every now and then? the main thing is you are still in the game and the results will all be worth it.
I love Williams and Sonoma. Have not been to this store, but the reflections is awesome!
Really nice idea for a self portrait! Expressive image!
when everything gets worked out, I'm sure you'll be pleased as punch!
I love this shot!!

I really don't know how folks do the remodeling thing, but I guess it's keeping your eye on the end goal. Take good care!!
well... there's a lot of reflections and the lines and curves... that's such an strange feeling I guess
I hope you get to finish your home-works soon and start enjoying your new and cozy house!
Cool shot!
Your right it will turn out Ok in the end its just the hassle of getting there!!!
Cool set of reflections and also able to see the inside. Never been to Chicago.
I know how you fee. Sometimes all you can do with life is try to "keep it between the ditches."
Lovely Wife and I are kindof in a mode like that right now as well. We'll be glad when the clouds part a little.
c'est une tres belle photo, le reflet est magnifique. bravo
it is a very beautiful photograph, the reflection is splendid. cheer
Better days are on your horizon!
Terrific photograph, I can't say I have ever seen anything quite like this! Thanks for sharing.
Very graphic and symmetry shot. I like the reflection here!
When something very complicated is in my life, I see a dream, that I am climbing to upper and upper floor in a building like in your picture and I can not turn back.
I hope, you will not get too tired in your "building" now and everything is
just fine soon and you can rest and enjoy.dtofk
