FRECKLES AND WRINKLES
I'm not up on my tree names but these look like old age wrinkles and freckles.

they do! i know birch trees have the white bark, but i can't tell if that's a birch or not.
we had a huge tree in my old town with huge "warts" all over it. it was in the shoney's parking lot, and they made sure they preserved it and built the parking lot around it.....it was very old and very knotty.
The spotted one is a California Sycamore (Platanus racemosa), which has bark just like the American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis) that grows here in the east. The other one, I don't know.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

Two old, good friends standing together, one with freckles and one with wrinkles.
you have a great fantasy:) I like trees I guess they have their own personalities
I have freckles and wrinkles. Florida sun (and Haiti too)
nice patterns
I love trees. I can never resist touching the bark whenever I pass a tree. However, like you, I'm hopeless with names.
Freckles and wrinkles.... oh no! You're reminding me of my advancing age!! Great detail... could the freckle tree be eucalyptus?
clever title ;)
I know nothing about the trees but I love them :)
Nice barks and awesome details!
A really lovely picture.
