THE CORRAL STEAKHOUSE

this Cafe has been part of the Pacifica Stables for over 40 years. Its located far back in the valley up against the hills of the Wildlife refuge.
Many horses are stabled here and their riders and the local community drop into the restaurant for wonderful meals.
My husband and I enjoy having lunch there often.(see the next blog for an additional picture and explanation)
We especially like it now that our kitchen is being remodeled and I have no stove or sink with running water. Nothing is in the right place and doing anything becomes a huge production. We've brought out the paper plates etc. but going out seems a lot less complicated.

That steak looks good,
that building should have cowboys on top shooting at the baddies like a john wyane movie

I was thinking the building looked like a western movie set...of course adding the cowboys on top is the perfect touch.

They can all come in and have a steak as soon as they are done. :)

Looks like a great place to eat. I am sure you appreciate places like this since your kitchen is torn up. Hope that project is and does go well, I know they can be trying but it is worth it in the end.

What a sweet-looking place. I wish I could ride up and join you and your husband for a meal!

That does look like a great place to eat. And I agree with the others, there should be cowboys shooting it out from that balcony. And it needs to have swinging doors with a saloon woman looking over it.

l'immeuble est tres beau, on se croirait au temps du far west.
Je suis pas trop viande rouge, prefere la viande dite blanche.

the building is very beautiful, one would be believed in the time of the far west. I am not too red meat, prefers the meat known as white.

Yesterday's post looks delicious and this cafe is dreamy. I had a juicy burger for lunch today but the cafe wasn't as nice as this one. Good luck with the renovation. It's exciting getting a new kitchen even if it doesn't look like that at the moment. Maybe you can take a picture of it for us, once it's done and you cook a first meal in there?
