CONFUSED

This isn't a great picture in any way, shape or form, but it shows how confused our lives are right now.
Yes, for the time being we have our refrigerator in our livingroom along with a multitude of boxes and left over furniture which will not go to our new home. Oh yes, there is also the new sink which will go back into the kitchen when the new countertop comes on Monday. Two weeks without running water in the kitchen has been difficult for me. the kitchen will be so nice when all is done and back in order.
At least there is progress.

hehe. It looks confusing to me too. Love the fridge in the living room :) But think how nice it will be when its all finished and you can sit back and see how much you've done. We need to see the "after" photo too.

Keep the end goal in mind. Someday you will look back and laugh about this picture.

I have heard kitchen remodels are "always fun". You will make it.

Progress is always a good thing. Just take a breath and remember, this too shall pass.

Oh, I can imagine the inconvenience -- but you're going to get top-dollar when you sell... Those nicely finished wood floors should close the sale... (Throw in some extra fog for a sales incentive)

are you moving nearby? or to a new town?

we'll be doing the same soon, probably.....as we are just renting and have started to look at real estate.

Try to focus in the postive things, This will be easier then!

Well I think you and I and the rest of us do what we have to do until things work out. I like your photo and the shine on the floors.

Also, thanks for stopping at my blog. I appreciate your comments.

Well, at least you don't have to go far for a snack! I know you'll be thrilled to be done.

It is always nice to photo-document projects and then look back at the photos later. This shot reminds me of moving, which I hope to NEVER do again!

Thanks for continuing comment on my blog even when you are sooo busy!

Oh that reminds me of all the topsy-turvy feelings I've had when I've been in the process of re-doing my home, or in the process of moving house. Those were trying times. I'd send you some comfort if only I knew how.

Ah, yes! The topsy turvy nature of remodelling kitchens and baths or redoing hardwood floors. We had an upright piano in our kitchen during one of these sessions. Love the refrigerator photo!

Yes, I can see your reason for the confusion! But I'm sure it won't be long.

Look forward to your "new life"!!

Nice hardwood floors! You still have a very nice neat place, even in the mayhem.

Its horrible when everything is so upside down.

Of course I totally know how you are feeling. I wonder why construction and remodeling have to be so painful? Good luck on the work left to be done!
