This is the view from the American River Bridge that I posted a few days ago. Sacramento is the State Capitol of California.

I'm having so much fun looking at the world through the lens of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. I will share my world of Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West. Come and enjoy with me.

ce capitol est tres beau, il me fait penser au pantheon à Paris
this capitol is very beautiful, it makes me think of the Pantheon in Paris
It looks like a beautiful city.
there are so many capitols like that in the States no? I know at least one in Washington DC and other in Little Rock that Annie showed once in her blog... and oh, another capitol in La Havanna which is the one i know personally :)
i like the framing, with the stoplight across the top.....
i like domed capitol buildings like this....
Such a beautiful blue sky too!!
Cool shot.
Ah yes, our state capitol... I visited when I was very young -- and remember that I was very impressed with the building, inside and out... Quite a while ago I saw a great program on TV about the restoration they did of the building...
Still intend to get to the Railroad Museum someday soon...
Hope you enjoy Sacramento, Sue -- and of course, I trust your new place has air conditioning !
I love capital buildings...they are always so ornate.
Gee, it looks a bit like Capitol Avenue here in Little Rock. Even the capitol building looks similar.
Capital buildings are neat to photograph. Have seen many but only have pictures of a few. Oddly enough not all are of the dome construction.
Great shot, like the way you framed it.
Nice view and composition!
this reinded me of DC with that capital building but I recall Sacramento as a nice place as well having visited this place a couple of years ago - I believe the Criminalistics Institute CCI - that was the reason for my visit =) - is there as well.
