WHICH ONE?
After I posted the nuts and bolts in black and white, I decided I liked the original color better. Which one do you prefer? This one or the previous black and white? Neither has posted as sharp as the original. This just isn't my day.
There is more contrast in the color one. But Picasa has limited Power for black and white conversion. You could probably get some really nice black and white results with a more powerful program...However maybe if you tweaked some things in the color version in Picasa, like making it more contrasty, then converted it to black and white it might work better? I no longer have Picasa so I don't remember too much about it.
Years ago, when I was into b&w I would have chosen the black and white example, but these days I prefer the color example... The color example seems to have less "noise" than the b&w...
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

I like the coloured photo best, and I have no idea why.... it just has more of that "nuts'n'bolts" feeling.
I vote for the B & W. I think it looks a little sharper and stands out more.. :)
I like the color one best. It just has a bit more umph for me. More depth is probably a better way to say it.
ahh, the Blogger Blues-and the only known cure is to just hang in there and try to enjoy!
I like the full-color version best!
hmmm... color! ^^
I'm So-o-o happy that you figured out what was wrong that you couldn't post.
I like the coloured one best.
Great photo.

I also like the colour version of the nut and bolt, the colouring is very nice on the metal.
hope hubby feels better soon
je vote pour la couleur...
I vote for the color…
the color version for moi!!! cant really pin point why..just that it seems to catch the eye faster than the BnW one
I normally love b&w photos but I think the colour one has the edge in this instance.
Thanks for popping by again.
If I have to choose, I guess it would be the color. I like both.
Hope your hubby is better and your posting woes are over.
I liked the colored photo.
I agree the original colour photo is great. It might look good in sepia too.
I think i like more this colored one!
It's a nice close-up photo!
actually really like the colour as it is very subtle with hints of warmth to it.

i like the color better....i can see the details more in that one.
I think I like the color one in this case. It seems to capture more detail. :)
My vote would be color. It adds some aggreable tones.
Wonderful close up! I like your self-description, too. Simple.
Digital has made it simple, except for archiving.
I vote B&W. But I guess you knew I would. ;-)
Stunning Industrial shot...very very nice.
I prefer this one. I love the soft copper tones.
