Another week has rolled around.
I'm combining 2 weeks into one this time.
On Wednesday my annual JAUNT to Mexico is happening.

The JOURNEY will be a 9 day Mission trip to build needy people
new homes, Festivals and JUST general loving on some beautiful
people of Mexico.

The first picture is from last year's trip showing 800 high school, college
and adults living in community for a week.

The logistics are staggering.

This time we have 1000, yes, 1000 people JAMMED into large
Army tents and becoming close personal friends!

Feeding 1000+ people every day for breakfast and dinner is
quite a feat.
As the saying goes, many hands make light work.

"JILLIONS" of loaves of bread go with the teams out each day
as they work in the communities.

Here is our JUST plain terrific Food Team.
I'm on the right in the second row from the bottom.
Lots of meals, lots of eggs to crack for breakfast, lots of mouths
to feed.
It's a wonderful way to serve and show the love of God to everyone
we come in contact with.

Since I will be gone when it's "K" Wednesday, I'll leave you with
my apron.
Until I return, JUST  KEEP on smiling and I wish you all a very
Happy Easter.

God bless the trip and all those whose lives you and your 998 fellow travelers touch. Your photos brought home the magnitude of the logistics involved.

Looking forward to more words and imageswhen you return.

Somehow, even though it is a large and important company, the notion of Bimbo bread cracks me up.

This sounds so much fun. If I were in an activity like this I want to be of help in the Food department. (I like food and watching people like what I cooked or prepared.)
