THE INVISIBLE RAIN and a BIT OF A BRAG

Well that promised rain storm didn't happen in our neighborhood.  I think we got enough drips to muddy the car windshield.  But I did get some pretty clouds as the sky darkened with the threat of said rain.

These photos are from our backyard.  The sky was so lovely.

The sky kept getting darker and the thunder rumblings were getting heavier so I thought I had better get inside.  Those flashes of lightning scare me a bit.

A bit later in the day I again went out in our backyard.  I wanted to brag a little on my Hubby and myself.

I think we are finally getting a handle on our "jungle".

Talk about "Sweat Equity".  Lots of hard physical labor but it is finally looking so much better.  Its Baby Steps but it is getting done.  We are so grateful for the sprinkler system being fixed and things are turning green again.

Today the storm has passed and the temps are lower.

There are very few clouds and the breeze is gentle.

Its going to be a good day.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

I have never seen your entire back yard - it is so big and beautiful - I am sure it took a ton or work - but it was worth it. It's so nice.

I love seeing clouds in the sky, so pretty!
Your back yard is beautiful. You are doing good. I think baby steps is the way to go, a little at a time will get it done.

The sky IS beautiful. Stormy skies have their own kind of beauty. Congrats on the yard! Now, how long will it stay this way?

Little at a time does it! Amazing what a sweet rainfall and lower temps can do for a body. I'm glad to hear the two of you are feeling much better!

Your backyard is huge. Looks like a park. Same here for last night. We had enough big drops to dampen the walkway. The sky was lovely. Took some photos as well. I wish Laydee wasn’t so darn frightened if the thunder because I enjoy sitting on the covered patio. The dry lightning did make for a few local fires around the area.

thank you for the proverb gift. We got 3 in 1 in 3 inch of rain in three days and our yard is totally out of control and a jungle. glad yours is getting under control with your help.. I do know we can do a lot more than we think we can.

Great looking yard, enough room to grow enough fruit and vegetables to be self sustaining. It's a valuable resource especially now with supply chain issues, global wars that can turn into WW3, weather/seismic instability and the real threats of cyber attack, solar flair and grid down.

Your property is really big, I'm not surprised that you find it hard to keep the weeds at bay. Looking really good now though. Nice to know that you enjoyed The Lion King as much as I did. Those animals were REAL weren't they?

Beautiful pictures.
You have a huge backyard. It must take an incredible amount of work to keep it looking that good.
