MERLO PARK ARCHIVES

Our nephew Mike just finished prepping this beautiful park

for the summer season.

He and his family are caretakers of the Paradise, CA park.

I went back into the archives from 2013 to show some of the wonderful spots.

Doesn't this look like a place to just sit and ponder?

There are many wonderful statues placed around the trails.

Isn't this amazing?

It's an exact replica of the Pieta crafted in marble and brought here from Italy.

I didn't realize how long it's been since we were there.

Seems a road trip is in order now that the weather is better.

As always enlarging the photos will give you more detail.

Wonderful and beautiful place! I love the leapfrog statue. Is it a very big place? He must have a large family to take care of the entire place.

I would love to visit that park...love to see the iron works...beautiful.

I think I'm finally back among the living! Don's illness hung on way to long, but he's doing great now. We have a followup visit Feb 8th.
Passing my drivers license test was a huge load off my shoulders, and I think now I will settle into my normal (haha) routine. Whatever that is.

I do know I miss you and I miss Tahoe.

Jill and Tristan will be coming down in June for his 5th birthday. Soon I will private message you on what's happening there.

Love and hugs
