Fall is officially here but we are still having temperatures in the 90's F.

I can't wait to get up into our local apple and pumpkin country.

Soon Apple Hill...Soon !!

The colors and variety of the gourds and pumpkins are just calling out to my camera.

What is the best thing that I just can't wait for ?????

Wow, awesome to have all that color to photograph. YUMMY to those apple cider donuts too.
I am going to the Farmer's Market today, and one of my favorite things there is the smell--fresh homemade waffles on grills, fresh brewed coffees, donuts and fresh cheeses--Mmmmmm, can't wait!!

i have never had an apple cider doughnut but i know i would love them. the gourds are such beautiful colors.. they are in all our stores here to.. even in Home depot and Lowes which i did not expect. we get up every morning at 3:50 365 days a year, and go to bed at 8. we have been doing that for 30 years. when we first got married bob had to be to work at 7 and it was more than an hour drive, he had to leave by 5:30 so we got up at 4 and had coffee in bed, still do. the dogs go out when we wake up and we take coffee back to bed. that is our talking time. for the past 9 years we leave home at 5:15 am five days a week to go to the YMCA and get in the pool... that is how i got the moon so early.

Beautiful weather in KC these days. Temps in the 70s. And I am hoping they stay there for a while. ツ

That donut looks so good. I can't believe it is still 90 degrees there. YIKES! I think we are going to have one 90 degree day next week and then it is going to turn cool and crisp. I will be thankful for that. Sending love from Pennsylvania all the way to California this morning. Love, Becky
