ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " C "

47 years ago Today we made a COMMITTMENT
to love, honor and CHERISH each other.
We made this vow by CANDLELIGHT
in front of a CROWD of our CLOSEST friends.



Here are some pictures to CELEBRATE our anniversary.
I CAN'T believe its been 47 years.
Why...that's practically a lifetime!



We were married during the semester break of
San Francisco State COLLEGE in CALIFORNIA.
I have to CHUCKLE when I see how thin and so very young we look.
Maybe we don't look the same today
but I married a wonderful, CARING guy.
I COULDN'T ask for better.



The CEREMONY was simple and meaningful.
Our reception was held in our CHURCH Fellowship Hall
and we had plenty of CANAPES, CANDIES, COFFEE and CAKE.
Happy Anniversary to my dear husband Dave.
I love you.

CLASSY

I love the classy touch of fresh flowers at our local Chick fil A Restaurant.
There aren't many fast food type restaurants that always have flowers on every table.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " B "

"B" is the letter of the day for ABC Wednesday.
BUDS are BEGINNING to BASK in the BEAUTIFUL January sunshine.




Some of the BUDS are aBOUT to BURST into BLOSSOMS.




I think there are a BILLION BIG BRISTLY BRITTLE BALLS
hanging from our tree.




The BARE BRANCHES seem to have BURR covered "ornaments"
hanging from the BARREN BARK.

Here we go, off on ANOTHER ADVENTURE through the ALPHABET .
AGAIN we start with the letter " A ".
Do you see the APPLE Core Leaf?
I thought it quite ARTSY.
Sometimes it pays to look AROUND.



AN ALBINO peacock seemed to be most ACCOMMODATING
AND posed for me.
I think his looks ARE A cut ABOVE the rest.



AN ABANDONED AUTO was lying in the grass slowly AGING.
I think it ACTS like it belongs in the stark surroundings.
We saw this poor AUTOMOBILE in the Ghost Town called Bodie.



AREN'T these the cutest ALPACAS you ever saw?
They AMBLED over to the railing so I could take their picture.
The one behind remained ALOOF.
I do love its ARTISTIC looking beard or mutton chops. Don't you?

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Z "

ZOWIE! We have made it to the end of the alphabet.
Here we are at the letter ZED or " Z ".
I believe it was ZERO hour for this ZEBRA.
The Bush of Kenya proves its the survival of the fittest.



The ZEBRAS in a herd stand a better chance of ZIPPING away from their natural enemies.
These beautiful animals seem to have a real ZEST for life.




This is not the ZOO!

We were actually very close to this magnificent beast,
though we used our ZOOM to get closer.

The ZESTY ZINNIAS below are so pretty.
I saw bees ZIG ZAGGING their way to the flowers but I was unable to capture them with my ZOOM LENS.

CARMI'S THEME " WET "

I decided to join Carmi and his theme " WET " .
These pictures hopefully show different aspects of wet.
I like the calm rippled reflection of a bridge spire in the first shot.



The opposite of calm waters is a full rushing river.



Frozen water....



Damp and very wet....

A TOUCH OF SPRING ?

I don't know what this bush is called,
but it was blooming like crazy a few weeks ago.
It seemed to be begging me to take its picture
so I could enjoy it later on a gloomy grey day.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Y "

Here we are at the next to last letter of the alphabet .
Today's letter is " Y ".
" Y " can stand for YIPPEE, YAHOO and YEEHAW.
These words seem to be YELLED out by this YOUNG cowboy as he ventures over YONDER.



Its getting more difficult to find a good YARDAGE store.
Sometimes one has to go thither and YON to find material to suit one's YEN.



I saw the YUMMIEST soft mohair YARN YESTERDAY.
The YELLOW was pretty but I liked the rusty red color best.



This tree seemed to be the perfect " Y " for my post.
It didn't YIELD a lot of leaves, YET it fits the theme.
