ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " O "

We have arrived at the Letter " O " for ABC Wednesday.
This post is full of ODDS and Ends. The first picture is an
OFFBEAT sculpture of a wonderful ORANGUTAN.

I really like this rather OBSCURE shot of an OLD
chair through an OPEN window.

The OAK water barrels were photographed OUTSIDE the cookhouse at Sutter's Fort.

Purple and Yellow ONIONS make a pretty OUTDOOR still life.
To see what OTHERS have OBSERVED and posted for the " O " OCCASION,
drop by Mrs. Nesbitts link ON my sidebar.
Hubby and I are going to be OCCUPIED with a conference at OUR church through Saturday.
I will try to get to your posts when I can. Until then take care. I shall return.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " N "

Today's letter in our trip around the alphabet is " N ".
I have posted photographs from 4 NATIONS we have visited in the last few years.
The NAKED little guy in the first picture was taken in Haiti.
I know I have posted this one before but we NEED to remember and still help the very NEEDY NATION of Haiti.

My Husband and I lived with these adorable little NICARAGUAN girls when we were in NICARAGUA.
Jory made NUMEROUS NECKLACES and bracelets for us to take home to remember them by.

Uzbekistan made the best bread I think I have ever had. This bread is called NAAN. It is baked fresh every day and served with chai.
The NAAN is a NECESSARY part of the meal.
I really NEED to taste some of it right NOW.
Pure NIRVANA.

The last NATION is the country of Kenya. The village we lived in was called NAMUNCHA.
On a good day one could get to the capital city of NAIROBI by car in about 2 hours.
Considering many of the roads that was wishful thinking.
NATURE is harsh and tough out in the Bush but as you can see it hasn't harmed the outlook of these adorable little guys.
Enlarging the pictures will show more detail.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " M "

Today is ABC Wednesday and I'm not MONKEYING around!!
This MONKEY sculpture at the Sacramento Zoo just MADE MY day.

I found this MILKING scene so MOOOVING at the agricultural MUSEUM MANY weeks ago.

A MASS of MILK cans deMANDED MY attention for a MINUTE.

Of course, MINNIE MOUSE wanted her due in this post about things starting with " M ".
MINNIE
and one of her MANY friends MADE sure I took her picture. This statue of MINNIE and Roy Disney was taken at the Walt Disney Studios in California.
To see what others have posted for the Letter " M " just MEANDER over to MRS. Nesbitt's link on MY sidebar.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " L "

The ABC Wednesday LETTER is " L ".

Since my Hubby fell from a LADDER several weeks ago I have been unable to go on any photoshoot and am dipping back into my LEGION of archives.
Thankfully my Hubby is recovering and will soon be back to his LIVELY and more LIMBER self again.

I love this old LIGHTHOUSE LOCATED on our California coastline about 25 miles from San Francisco.

I discovered these vintage LICENSE plates at a LITTLE museum in Auburn, California. I LIKE the shades of orange and yellow.

LUCKY LADY LIBERTY LIVES in LAS VEGAS.

To see what others have posted for the LETTER " L " LEAP to Mrs. Nesbitts' LINK and take a LOOK.
