ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Q "

QUILTS...QUALITY AND QUIRKY

This is the most original Quilt I have ever seen. A Quilt made out of Barbie dolls mounted in shadow box squares. We saw the beautiful Quilts at the California State Fair this summer.

I thought this was a Quirky shot that made my son and I laugh as we looked at this scene. Are we going to win the newspaper reading man or that Quality Quilt behind him?
Don't forget to enlarge the pictures to enjoy the detail.
Go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar to see what others have posted for "Q ".

Oh, I love your post for the day! The quilts are delightful, the Barbie one, very interesting, but the last shot broke me up!! I think I'd prefer to win the quilt! Hope that's what they meant!!

Have a great day!

That Barbie quilt looks rather uncomfortable for a bed!

This is really beautiful and interesting post. I like the pattern on the first photo very much but a quilt made out of Barbie dolls is excellent indeed. I enlarged the photo and enjoyed in every doll; each in different dress and space and situation. I've never seen this before. Thanks for sharing!

Too funny...

My daughter Sarah could probably make a quilt out of her Barbies. She probably has enough.

That really is some quilt. I have not seen anything like it before today.

What would you do with a newspaper reading man when you win him? And where would you put him? Fantastic photos, love the quilts, great Q!

A Barbie quilt - now that's quite unique. Quilt for me rather than man :)

Too cute! I, also, hope you don't win the man but, rather the quilt! Or...maybe the man will win the quilt? Whatever...too quirky and fun!

Hahahaha! I think they'd sell more tickets to the quilt raffle!! Sorry, newspaper man, but it's true. LOL!

The first quilt is stunning. The Barbie doll quilt? Not really a proper quilt to me.

Sue, the quilts are magnificent. RuneE's comment is amusing yet I feel badly for that overweight person.

The Barbie quilt is quite interesting, but the first one is absolutely beautiful! I love all the intricate stitching. I do hope you didn't win Mr. Newspaper Man:)

Love the quilts! When I looked closely at the Barbie quilt all I could think of is how would you dust it?

The last "quirky" shot made me laugh - if he only knew!

Quilt and quirky in one image,
now that is quality! :-)))

Had a good laugh about that last one and the Barbie doll quilt is exquisite, such creativity. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Would you believe me when I tell you that I am looking at letters differently since I know you? I photographed a P today, we'll see when I find a way to use it in one of my posts. ;.)
