A ROSE IS A ROSE IS A ROSE
The sun was so intense when I took this picture that it blew out the petal. I really liked the shadow play so I converted to black and white and decided to keep the shot. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
une rose est une rose, et le b&w lui va si bien, très belle photo, et j'aime les ombres sur cette photo. a rose is a rose, and the b&w it is so very beautiful picture, and I like the shadows in this picture.
This photo is superb!! Thank you for your comment on my blog today. If by posting my personal experiences about TVT surgery helps just ONE woman, I will feel that it is a job well done.
Sue, your photos are perfect without processing them anyway, this wonderful rose photo tells it again! But Picasa is the easiest software, if you want to play and it`s free. You can find this Picasa 3 here: http://picasa.google.com/

Wonderful way to start the week.
excellent composition
I love your rose photo. Black and white starkness adds drama, do you think? - Dave
Great start to the week! Love B&W!
It's PERFECT in B&W!
Wow, I really like this picture a lot. I think you could sell it to IKEA : )! I have a picture of theirs in my room that looks almost like this!
Oh my, how stunning! You have such a good eye.
So dramatic!
But then roses are dramatic whichever way you look at them.
I like the B&W, the rose is elegant looking!
AWESome!!!!!
This is impressive shot, indeed! This black and white version is just fantastic, somehow mystic! I do love it!
Never discard a picture,
what better proof than this! :-)
Black and white really plays up what could have been a flat picture otherwise, great job.
I'm going to give you ten-points and a gold-star for this photo...
Very creative way to save a blown-out shot...
This photo is superb!!

Have a happy Tuesday, Sue!
This shot is a "fine Art", Sue.
Simple image has such a strong impact.
Well done.
Lovely :) I think my daughter Rose would like it as well!
Gorgeous in B&W!!
It's beautiful! Love it in black and white.
Your B&W's a re really looking good! You've emphasized the shape and form of this flower instead of the color, and it works!
How lovely, Sue.
I like it too. It looks a lot like the old masters like Weston and the early 20th century photographer's stuff. Simple and dramatic.
and the black and white makes it a such a classic beauty
