NO VEHICLES BEYOND THIS POINT

Several weeks ago our church had a fabulous summer camp Bible school with over 3000 kids in attendance.
The theme was Breakaway to the Galaxy. At the entrance to the church stood this magnificient rocket ship.
After the camp was over the ship was relegated to the back lot. I got a kick out of the sign posted just in front of the rocket. It seems that the rocket had to land and go no further.
To see the detail just click on the picture.

3000 kids?! What a blessing!

Spiffy rocket. There's always a lot of energy that goes into our church's vacation bible school, and I'm always amazed at how many come every day. We have a small church and the place just fills up with kids. It's wonderful.

I agree with the others gasping at the 3000 kids number! You must have a huge church. The rocket theme is great. And now you have a piece of artwork to remember it by.

That is certainly a high quality looking ship! I'm sure it made the kids excited, I know I would have been.

Great capture! It reminds me of on of those graveyards for planes in Nevada.

It looks like the rocket did everything in it’s power not to break the rules!

One and friends provides me with days of entertainment.. not sure what 3000 would provide you with!!! :) :) :)...Glad your church camp was successful and I am sure lots of fun!! :)

An innovative and creative way to "hook" kids into a worthwhile program.
