COWABUNGA
My husband and I went to our good old standby today. The Corral Steakhouse gave us a great meal as usual.
After eating we walked over to see several cows and steer they had in a pen. This curious long horned critter was very interested in my camera. I shot quickly and backed up before he could get his tongue wrapped around the camera.
click on this Longhorn to see him closer still.

If he understood what the restaurant had on the menu he may not have been so friendly :).
Nice close-up of the friendly critter.
i love how close you got - it's such a great photo.
He seems a little worried. There's panic in his eyes. :-)
Great photo.
it would be funny to have his tongue around the photo!
Ok, not that funny... ;)
The steakhouse has live cows outside? Wow, never heard of such a thing!
Is it like a seafood restaurant where you pick your own lobster for dinner? Can you go outside and point to the cow you want to eat?
Blather From Brooklyn
Cool shot!
Wonderful...just great Sue! :)
LOL I love it. Yeah cow spit probably wouldn't be the best thing for your camera :)
HOLY COW!
I can honestly say that an animal's tongue has never threatened to disengage me from the camera!
You truly are a risk-taker Sue!!
Funny image and fine details!
I guess he has a permanent reprive from the oven, right?
Wow! You really are close.
Now that's up close and personal!
That's funny. I don't think they have chickens running around Kentucky Fried Chicken! :)
That's a very MOOOOOving picture!
What a fun picture! And the restaurant sounds awesome too.
Have you noticed how they always walk up to the fence as though trying to commooonicate
Wonderful photo. Interesting angle, I can feel him looking at me.
I dont think I could eat when I know tomorrows menu just said cheese for me!
Wow, I wasn't expecting to get up that close whn I clicked on the pic!
You're building up nicely for our local bull-running festivals in July & October. now THAT's a photographic challenge for you, believe me!
