Yesterday afternoon gave us some beautiful skies.
Today .. just plain gray and the threat of rain is very real.
So
I thought I would show you yesterdays skies...much prettier than today.
The late afternoon sun made long shadows. I love the contrast of the dark trees and our almond tree blossoms.
Any day with birds is a banner day in my book.
ReplyDeleteI hope the storm was not too bad!
ReplyDeleteCold and windy here...but we still got out to run to Walmart.
ReplyDeleteCool photos!
hugs
Donna
we have had a day of drizzles and today will drizzle all day long and most of tomorrow. no beautiful skies or sunshine. the last two months have been very not normal for Florida.. and it continues. I like to see stormy sky like this, its beautiful.. bill paying, how I hate it
ReplyDeleteLovely silhouettes! We're experiencing what's probably the last cold weekend of the season, but thankfully no more rainfall.
ReplyDeleteWe've noticed that the birds are always more active before it rains! They know they're going to have to hunker down for a while so they need to eat enough to see them through the "storm". The sky you showed us was lovely -- it's always fine to show the prettiest sky day don't you think? (If not, there would have been a lot of gray pictures when we spent all our time in Oregon ;>).
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the photos you shared. Our rain is expected tomorrow and it should rain for a few days. Hope you are doing okay. Hope your week goes well for you.
ReplyDeleteI love that the birds were there and it looked like that one tree - is blooming!
ReplyDeleteYour almond tree looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe had a winter storm watch in the forecast the other day, which I didn't think would happen because it was fairly mild and the birds were out chirping in the trees, but then the temperature dropped, and we did get an inch or two of snow during the night. And then the next day the sun was out again and most of the snow melted.
That's pretty much how our winter has been thus far this year.
