BLACK AND WHITE CHANGE OF PACE
John of My Viewfinder suggested I post the fire escape in black and white. I also added film grain to the shot. I like the gritty effect. Don't forget to enlarge the picture for the detail.
How interesting...the black and white with the gritty effect does give it a little vintage feel.... very nice shot
ReplyDeleteI think it's much better for this particular image. Great job for conversion and film grain is very nice touch.
ReplyDeleteI like this one better, Sue.
A graphic image. The B&W gives it an old mood!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteI like it! Looks good.
ReplyDeleteI think black and white is the perfect choice for this.
ReplyDeleteI like this one a LOT!
ReplyDeleteWell done! I think this photo is much stronger in B&W. Too many people are afraid of grain. Sometimes it's plus, not a negative.
ReplyDeleteReally WONDERFUL!! I especially like the B&W
ReplyDeleteNice shot. Makes me think of that book, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn."
ReplyDeleteLooks even better!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo! And what you've done with it! Makes me want to go rent "Rear Window"!
ReplyDeleteGood job, and with the window air conditioners, it does have the feel of an old photograph.
ReplyDeleteYeah ... very good idea! I love this kind of fotos!!! May a few more contrast? ... Any way, I love it!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
