ONLY IN SAN FRANCISCO
Driving along the beach highway yesterday, we spotted this house. We just had to stop and take a quick picture. I would love to meet the people that live there. Its quite colorful, don't you think? Click on the image to get a closer view.
Nice house. I like the colors too. My brother was out for a visit this weekend from the Bay area (Mt. View). Just went back on Sunday. Wonder if he has ever been to this house.
Hey there! Thanks for visiting, I just can't totally give up, can I? So, still battling. And. re the battle, seeing this house immediately made me wish it was where I was about to move to, for every possible reason. It's a kinda magic, isn't it? Echo j. andrew's view, they just have to be.
I just had to giggle at your house photo today, which sort of captures a west coast/San Francisco area stereotype. You and I have photos "in the same ballpark" today, don't we.
WOW! There's a lot going on in that photo (and on that house). With all that color and design, I almost missed the pigeon. Anyone else see it? Gotta love those steps up to the upper roof too!!
Hello potowannabe, A colleague has had a accident ni the mountains wihle skiing. So I was in hospital to visit him ... He is more or less fine. Thank you :-)
I love the weather vane on the roof, and the sun and the dolphins above the top window. That house has a lot of fun in it. I wonder what the neighbours think?.
It's pretty wild and very creative, but I do wonder whether the neighbors like it? Or does it draw so much attention that it becomes bothersome? I think it's pretty cool. I think around here there are probably building codes that would prohibit something like that.
That's a really great photo there Photowannabe Sue... I've seen that house, but I don't have as good of a picture... The lighting was perfect... I'll have to do some exploring over there... I could turn it into a nice long walk along the Great Highway...
They have to be good people. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely colors!
