FAMILY VISITING

Our son, daughter in law and two grandkids arrived from Oregon yesterday. Its so good to have them here, especially at this time of year. They will be at our home for a week so we will celebrate an early Christmas with them.
I don't know how much time I will have to write on your blogs but I will be looking now and then.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Be sure to enlarge the picture to see the detail.

Vattails are such interesting plants! The gossamer threads that shine so beautifully in your photo are good insulating material and can be used to make vests etc....
Have a wonderful time with your family!

Have fun with your family. I like picturing them gathered to you like the seeds on this pod.

As a kid I used to take the cat tails and whack them on the road until all their "feathers" came out... lovely picture!

Have a wonderful time with your family - there is no better time than time spent with loved ones :)
