A ROSE IS A ROSE
Many of the roses in the Rose Garden were very full. I thought they made more interesting pictures than the tight buds.
There was little fragrance in many of the flowers. I guess the cross breeding eliminates much of the sweet smell.

Very delicate colors
Your shots of flowers as always are beautiful
I love the shading of colour on the petals. Very, very nice!
Most beautiful!
I see a few roses today. Lovely.
Today I've posted different Amish buggy's. Take the 320 question quiz to see how much you know about the Amish.
This is gorgeous!
I love this one,. but yellow one is spectacular and the light there is just perfect!
I enjoyed a lot reading about your trip with your parents and the thing with the chewing gum, it was a lovely and funny story, thanks for sharing it! :)
Beautiful photo! I learned how to care for roses from my Dutch father-in-law that lives in California. He and my mother-in-law have some amazing roses in their yard. I'm so glad that I learned from him some basics in rose-care, for he now has Alzheimer's and many of the simple things he enjoyed, like caring for his roses, are now slipping from his mind. Thanks Jake for teaching me to love and care for the roses! And, Happy Father's Day!
So pretty and delicate, captured wonderfully as you always do!
This is gorgeous! Love the contrast of the yellow center with the pink on the petals. Great shot!
This is not JUST a rose....
Stunning Sue!
:)
The difference between yesterday's rose and this one is the lighting. I prefer yesterday's softer lighting for flowers.
This a lovely one, I love the colour. My son and future D-I-L have just moved to a house that has rose bushes... and they are just starting to bloom.
It is very pretty with the soft pink on the edges. It looks a bit like our wild roses.
Nice rose pics, I must post some of my flower pics
Beautiful rose.
