prickly delight!!! lovely colours...i have hated cactus ever since i landed with my bottoms on them while playing as a child........but when they are flowering, they are a beauty!! :)

Yes, sometimes digging through the archives and posting a shot works for me too.

There is something special about a blooming cactus. This one is very nice.

Rain in Sunny Califoria, surely not..
We also have small pricky pear cactus, the dog walked into some once, so we watch where we walk the dog now

Sue this is beautiful! While living in Phoenix I learned that a cactus' bloom lasts just one day, and blooms just once a year.
Your photo makes me think Spring Thoughts!!!
