DUCK AND SALMON ON A FALL DAY

Kehoe Salmon are different from other Salmon. They are landlocked and go from the Lake up the River to complete their life cycle.
Their mouth becomes hooked and they no longer eat and their scales turn a brilliant reddish maroon color. Here in the river the female lays her eggs and then dies. Her job is finished. New Salmon will find their way out into the Lake again and life is renewed.
