MONDAY MEANDERINGS

 Monday Meanderings.

Happy Monday ... Hope you all survived the time change to Daylight Savings Time.

Sometimes it can be a bit rough.  Dave and I had a little nap yesterday and I have to say that it really helped.

There are times that I feel like this windmill, just going round and round without accomplishing anything.

I went out in our backyard this morning.

It seems the grape vines have exploded over night.

I love to see the New Life popping out all over.

Hopefully there will be some fruit from all of this activity.

Happy meandering through your day !

  1. The time change went okay. I did end up going to bed early last night. That is awesome about your grape vine. Hope your day goes well.

  3. I really don't like time change, except the longer days are nice.

  5. It is far too early for us in the garden yet. It will be some time I fear!

  6. Your own grapes! I love that. Tim napped yesterday as well. This time thing had me messed up a bit and I was up at five getting my writing done. Wishing you a wonderful new week!

  7. I'll never understand the 'daylight savings time' thing. But I did set the clocks and are ready to go.. I like that progress quote, and it's a good reminder. Your grass looks so green already. I wish you a pleasant March week!

  8. What a pretty windmill! The only thing exploding overnight in our neck of the woods are the dandelions. I strongly suspect they're laughing at my efforts.

  9. I also took a little nap yesterday and today I was fine. The switch was easier than I thought it would be

  10. LOL. We take a little nap EVERY day! LOL. Today we might have taken two to make up for the time change. We didn't have time for much of a nap yesterday because our son was here after church and didn't leave until almost supper time! But we went to bed earlier than usual. It usually takes me about a week to adapt to the time change, no matter which way we turn the clock. I do wish they'd leave it alone one way or the other. Oh, we went out this morning and trimmed away a lot of dead stuff and raked up the mess...and then I came inside and collapsed after a shower. I will feel it tomorrow for sure. LOL I love that your grapevines are growing! All we have are wild grapevines, and they are growing too, but I don't expect they will produce any grapes. But I will watch them to see. have a lovely week.

  11. I find that as I get older, I am not a fan of the time change. It takes me too long to adjust!

  12. those of us with pets, find it harder to adjust to the time change, they get totally confused and that adds to my own confusion. I did to much bending and stooping yesterday, yardwork and today can barely stand straight and walk.. I made 10 trips from back yard to curb side dragging limbs. but its done and waiting for pickup.. this too shall pass
