FORGET ME NOTs

Dainty little Forget Me Nots are beginning to pop up in the lush growth of the park.
I hope your day will be like a walk in the park.

This should be an exciting time for me. Your forget-me-nots reminded me of that. I just started looking at new plants (new to me) for 2008 and it should be exciting but I have lost some energy along with my youth and it is hard for me to imagine myself digging holes and planting things with all the aches and pains that I have today.

  9. Hi Sue! Hope you have a great weekend. These blooms are gorgeous. I have a soft spot for blue flowers. And green also. Well, really I love all flowers. Too bad I can't send our bees over to visit your flowers! :)

  12. Well what a lovely sentiment:
"I hope your day will be like a walk in the park."

--Well I am pleased to report that I had a great day -- got out and saw a lot of pretty clouds -- but I somehow conveniently forgot to take my usual "walk in the park" -- which is a stiff climb to the top of the hill at Roy's Redwoods. Oh well, maybe tomorrow...

And that's a fine picture, Photo-Sue... I've always liked Forget Me Nots -- it's a flower that I can actually identify. I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can spot any around here.

  16. I do think those blue forget-me-nots are lovely to see, so beautifully blue.

I have known quite a few adults who love to go to Disneyland, on their own, no children. I've never been and wonder if it would capture my imagination too.

  19. Beautiful! Some of the bushes and tree here are also spotting new leaves. It has been raining yesterday and today the sun's out again, I am sure nature is hard at work establishing spring.
Thank you for the good wishes, may you have a great weekend!

P.S. I loved to "meet" you in the picture below - I wish I'll be as happy and serene a grandmother as you, when the time comes.
