ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting, I photographed wild irises when I was in Florence last month! They grow wild in the olive groves and meadows in the San Polo in Chianti area, very close to Florence.

ReplyDeleteIn just a couple or three weeks I shall have iris blooming in my garden. I planted both Japanese and flag iris and the first blooms before the next, giving me time to completely enjoy the beauty.
