SAND AND SEA
As I gaze out at the ocean I can feel the knots loosen and the things that bind me drop away.
Hi to you on this lovely friday, It's clever of you to relate this stiff pole and taut rope to the human condition. Ys, let's allow the sea to wash our cares away.
In all honesty the very first thought that entered my head at first glance was -this will represent your life in 2007...one end of the rope pulling you West to the sea, and the other end pulling you East to your new home". Probably not what you were thinking when you took the shot though.
I like the raw beauty of this photo. I can feel the strength of that rope. The detail is really good. Nice photo, nice structure, nice lighting, nice framing. Hey! This is really, really good. You have a skillful eye.
Beautiful caption. So, you're a water-person. Yes, the ocean can have a wonderful, healing presence.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. I have a question for you on my peaceonearth blog whenever you get a chance.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteAny beach photo has the relatively bland (in comparison) scenery in Minnesota beat hands down.
