A BLACK AND WHITE PARKING SPACE
Just curious which post you like better, yesterday's color shot or the same one in black and white? When posting yesterday I just couldn't decide which I prefered so now, its up to you....
Hi, It looks good in either format, but i do like black and white and intend to do more myself. I have an R72 Hoya infrared filter which can give unusual effects, will post some on my blog
I was just looking at your B&W os San Fran.... did you notice the pigeons on the roof? Also that street light, is the old type that causes light polution, they also waste power, the new design uses less power and does a better job of lighting the road and reduces glare, just my little rant.
You know, I have to say that after much deliberation, I also like the metallic tones of the color picture, as well as how the green pole stands sedately in the center (it already has a lot of black and white tones to it--don't you think?)
You know, I just can't make up my mind... The B&W is very strong, but the color rendition is also very good... Years ago I'm sure I would have favored the B&W, but as I said, I just can't make up my mind...
I prefer the colour one. Which is curious, because I usually enjoy b&w pictures. In this case, I like the contrast between the mostly grey tones (the wheels of the bycicle and the background in general) and the soft colours of the coloured part of the bikes (don't know their names...)

I am more fond of the black and white...but that's very "me". I think the tonal range of the original lends itself to black and white.

personally, I think bikes look so much better in mono.
