ANOTHER ELUSIVE SUNSET
This sunset is facing the southerly direction at Linda Mar Beach, Pacifica, California. Sorry for this late post. I have been visiting my grandkids this weekend.
Most folks wouldn't shoot a sunset like this, but you've captured the beauty of it so well!! These shots are wonderful. There's much strength to this image.
As you've discovered, often the most beautiful light and color occur after the sun has dipped below the horizon, sometimes up to an hour after actual sunset. Most people aren't patient enough to wait and watch, so they end up with sunset pictures that look just like everybody else's. You didn't arrive late, you were right on time!
Not the best lighting conditions I guess. I like the delicate pink cast on the sky.
ReplyDeleteLove the rocks on the shore.
ReplyDeleteA rough sea and a beautiful sky. Perfect place to be. I miss the ocean so much. I have to get back there soon!
ReplyDeleteAwww...I hope you had a blast with your grandkids.
ReplyDeleteThe sea looks quite violent here in this photo. Very moody.
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt was worth the wait!

Roiling! That's a word I don't use very often but it sure describes the sea in this photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...looking just like a fairytale picture!
