Even the Lake has splashes of color among the evergreens this time of year. This is one of my favorite places to be, anytime actually.
At 6,200 feet the air is crisp and clean. Everything feels fresh in anticipation of the first snowfall.

Beautiful! Slanted tree trunk, blue sky and golden leaves work well together.

ReplyDeleteOhhh...I love Lake Tahoe. I spent a weekend there in August for my friend's B-Day--we got to go to the Shakespeare festival but it was rained out! We had the most fantastic storm on the lake. It's one of the most fantastic places in CA.

ReplyDeleteLake Tahoe, my favorite spot. I was just in Sacramento over the weekend and it was still sooo warm.. I was hoping for a little cool weather but I guess that is coming around now!! Oh Shucks. Great colors in the tree.. and wonderful back lighting on the leaves.. :)
