BACK AMONG THE LIVING

Cold and Flu...Bah Humbug...

We have felt lousy for the last few days...

Not the best way to welcome in the new year.

So thankful Dave and I feel close to normal today.

I'm not sure what normal is  but we are "close".

We may have felt under the weather

But our camilla bushes were showing off their colors.

I love the pink carpet from the falling petals.

Today the carpet is gone..

The lawn guys came and the leaf blowers made them all disappear.

wow on the camellias, there are 4 blooms just like yours on one of our neigbors bushes, but nothing like this. they don't do well here. to hot I think. Yay for the 1 pound and keep it up. I am down 2 today, I was up 1.6 on this past Thursday, so starting Saturday I buckled down, which is no more than 1200 calories and no white bread.. I intend to reach my goal, I hope by April, that gives me 3 months to lose 10 pounds, I may or may not but plan to by end of next year.

I don't think I have ever even seen a real Camilla! They are gorgeous, and the pink carpet is so stunning! So sorry you have been sick, and right at Christmas time, too. Hope you are all better real soon.

Glad you are feeling better. WOW! I love that pink carpet, almost as much as the flowers on the shrubs.

Those camellias are wonderful. Do they have a scent? Can you dry the petals?
