ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Y "

This YEAR I am having problems downloading my photos

from one device to another.

I may only have one photo to show for ABC Wednesday.

Today's letter is " Y ".

Well, I would say that this photo of the YUCCA tree looks YUCKY.

At least I got a photo posted but this is not my best work.

That's so big! I had no idea they could grow so huge.

We have many yuccas around here. But they don't have leaves like this. This picture is maybe two different plants. Yuccas have so many uses, the Indians used to use them.

I actually love the photo. I like the shading and the fact the tiny human in the corner shows just how big and beautiful the yucca is..

I have always admired the Yucca, but never had one, - of course it is never too late, but I'm cutting it close..... Great photo.

So this is the yucca with two c's as opposed to the cassava yuca with one c. Now I get the difference.

We have yuccas occasionally. Here in this village are several people who have them in the garden, but they are not as high as the one on the photo.
They are beautiful, aren't they?!

I've been wanting to plant yucca for awhile, just not sure about the climate in Kansas. Perfect specimen.
