ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " G "

GOOD  GOLLY !

We have arrived at the letter  " G " for ABC Wednesday.

There are quite a few GEESE that have become local residents

in our corner of the city.

Every day they honk a lot and make a flight practically over our house.

The GEESE are GOING from one pond to another to GET something to eat.

I GUESS I caught this pair off GUARD.

Suddenly the head came up and he GAVE me a GLARE.

As you can see...

I GOT a scolding and a warning to GO away....

I did,

but not before thanking him for  GIVING  me my post for the letter  " G ".

Here's some GOOD advice...

Enlarge the photos  to see the detail

and

Make sure you visit the others posting for ABC Wednesday.

Gorgeous creatures. We tell the changing seasons by the comings and goings of the geese here. Soon they will be back from their winter homes, returning to our skies for a few months before they go further north. We love those creatures. Love your pictures.

you could use the geese for letter L because they are LOUD... we have a sign like this on our street but is says Ducks xing.... geese make great guard dogs.. as you can see that is three G's out of one Goose post.

What a fun sign. Do the geese really cross there?

I'd never seen a geese crossing sign!

There are a couple of large ponds here in the city and a highway between them. At times the geese try to cross--not a good idea-especially rush hour.

These Canada geese are also regularly visiting my country. They are very beautiful and I saw it very well when I enlarged your photos.Great G post!

We see a lot of Canada Geese here, too! We need a sign!

Yes geese are so accommodating to photographers:-) Could do with a sign like that here there is one particular road that is a favourite with them and they won't be hurried, as can be judged by the tailback of cars.

Geese are kind of fun at first. Until they become a nuisance. ツ
