A LEAP TOWARDS SPRING

My Hubby and I have spent the last few days out in our backyard.

We've been pruning and getting rid of a lot of "Dead Wood".

The weather has been balmy and perfect for working.

At our age, it really is Working!

I have to say it's a satisfying ache and pain to see the results.

The plum tree is just beginning to burst forth with dainty blossoms.

New Life.

Remember to enlarge the photos for more detail.

Have a wonderful weekend.

"At our age, it really is Working!" Great quote. Seems like everything I do these days equates to WORK! as Maynard G. Krebs would say.

Warmer temps (50s-60s) re heading to KC tomorrow and that makes me happy.

Spring on the way, the physical ability to work outdoors, and the inclination to savor the experience are all blessings! I enjoyed those images.

Oh how lovely to be working in the yard. Here today it was -25C! That's -13F. And YoungerSon went ice fishing for the weekend, that morning on the ice it was -50C, that's -58F. So enjoy the spring!!!!
