While we were visiting our son in Oregon
He showed us what he had been puttering with to pass the time.
He took an old 33 1/3 RPM record and made a clock with it.
Old shells are the wings
CD disks the eyes
and the center of the eyes are 2 halves of an old yoyo .
I think it's rather clever and it keeps good time.
It jazzes up his bare kitchen wall quite nicely.

What a clever idea. Not only does it keep time...it's perfect for a kitchen, and so colorful. Love it.
