HAPPY WEEKEND

Happy weekend friends.

My Almond tree is happy this morning too.

A soaking of rain and temperatures in the low 70's F.

Make the yard  begin to flex it's Spring muscles.

A closer look shows the fresh new "weeds" popping up after the rain.

Enlarging the photos will show all the new growth on the plum tree.

Another day or two and there will be more blossoms to enjoy.

A close up of the Almond blossoms.

I love our vivid blue sky today.

Enjoy!

What a beautiful almond tree. I guess you have fresh almonds to eat all spring! How long do the nuts stay?

Folks on the northeast coast probably are not as happy about nature as you are! Happy Valentine's Day to you, too. After today come visit me for the next two weeks at my Mazatlán blog:

The almond tree in blossom looks wonderful especially right now as I am looking out of the window at my completely white back yard where the temperature is -20C (around -4F) and the wind is blowing the snow in tiny tornadoes.
