THE CELEBRATION CONTINUES

Dave and I continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

What better way than to go back to the magical place where we spent our honeymoon?

Fortunately the rain held off yesterday and we enjoyed the Christmas lights
and fireworks show.

This morning....

Rain.....

I know we should be glad for the rain....

but

I wish it came a few days from now.

Tomorrow another gully washer is forecast,

I guess we will have to get our water wings out and swim....

The castle isn't quite as pretty in the rain.

The roses were so beautiful, especially when kissed by the rain drops.

Don't forget to enlarge the photos.

We went into The Mad Hatter store and tried on the "Mickey and Minnie"
bride and groom hats.

The supervisor was nice enough to take our picture.

We were soggy from the rain but it was a fun day with little crowds.

HAPPY 50th!!! Oh no, I am so sorry abut the rain, the castle is like a fairy land. How long will you be staying, I hope it quits and gives you a few more dry days.

Fab pic of the newlyweds! And newlyweds never mind a bit of rain, do they?
How lovely to go to Disney. I was at the Florida Disney 3 years ago and it absolutely pelted with rain for the three days we were there..... so I know how you feel. But the crowds were diminished and we had a great time anyway!
Happy 50th!

How sweet is that! I must say that you two are the youngest looking couple I've seen celebrating their fiftieth. You must have been child bride and groom.

The thing that struck me as funny is in the picture of you on the Cars ride, did you notice the age or "era" of everyone there? It truly is a place where you never have to grow up, isn't it! I'm so glad that you had the chance to go and enjoy Disneyland and make more memories there. Enjoy the last part of your 50th year and then you can go back next year with the same sign with the 50 "X" out and write 51st!
