IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN

It's that time of year again.

The pomegranate tree is loaded and it's time to start picking.

They are so strange looking and a lot of work to get the juicy seeds out.

I do think they are worth the effort and the juice is so good and full of antioxidants .

The juice does stain so don't wear a white shirt while eating them.

As always, enlarging the photos will show more detail.

This is YOUR pomegranate tree? I have never seen one before, only the ones in grocery stores.

Oh I remember when you brought me a basket of pomegranates when you came to Tahoe a couple years back.

Looks like a bumper crop!

the tree would make a great Christmas tree, already with beautiful balls on it.. i have never had the juice, but did try to eat the seeds once many moons ago.. did not work...

Oh yum! They look so luscious on the tree. I almost always "wear" some of the juice when I eat one.. but like you said, they are indeed worth it. Enjoy!
