THE LAST CROP

Here is our one and only crop of peaches and sugar plums.

The drought and crazy weather patterns has not been good to us this year.

I really can't wait to sink my teeth into these though.

There is nothing like fruit from your own trees....yummm!

As always enlarging the photo will give you more detail.

ABC Wednesday   D is for DOWN TO THE LAST DROUGHT FRUIT CROP.

they look delish. we are having the same thing here. not one avocado made it through, we had maybe 10 tiny ones the size of a golf ball. the grapefruit tree has hardly any. and the flowering bushes have had a few blooms but not like they normally do...

So sorry about your drought. The fruit you did produce looks delicious.

It doesn't seem to be a summer for rain, and we are lucky to have irrigation in our orchards to guarantee a good crop.

Yum. O.k. I thought Sugar Plums are something you make then roll in sugar?

You're right, fruit that you've grown yourself is more DDDelicious!

They look so yummy! I have been noticing my tomato's don't survive a second day after they turn ripe.
Always tastes best right after they are picked. :) YUM

They really look yummy and delicious! Enjoy them, and I'm sad that you didn't get to harvest more. Visiting from ABC Wednesday.

They do look delicious only the last time I was hospitalized (ten days ago) and the time before (a year ago) I had actually eaten peaches right before the stomach problems, on both occasions. So now I am a little leery in case I am actually allergic to them!
