SUMMER BEAUTY

Here are several beautiful Summer blooms we saw up in the
Auburn area of California.

I think this flower is a Moss or Wood Rose.

This rose was so fragrant I just had to snap a picture as we walked by.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Remeber to enlarge to get the detail.

How lovely, I've heard that top one called wood rose. Love the scarlet in the middle.

Both are beautiful, but the white one is something I have never seen before. And your images capture the colors of both so vividly. So glad you stopped to snap. You have a glorious weekend, too!

So lovely! I went to a big greenhouse this week and I told my friend Brenda that my friend Miss Suzanne would love this place! It was called Ott's Exotic plants. It was like no place I have ever seen before : ).

Very very lovely...Each one is so delicate. I'm excited about my "corn" as the larger one is getting a "tassle"..Does this mean corn is coming????

Hi,
The first one is a gumrock rose (Cistus ladanifer), native and very abundant in my part of the world. Look here:

It is nice to be back to your photo blog, I have to apologize for being away so long.
