ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Z "

We have finally reached ZED.
The last letter of the alphabet and for ABC Wednesday.
My Hubby and I did reach ZED or the end of the line last week!

The temperature soared to 112F or 44.444C.
ZOUNDS!!!
Too hot....
 It completely ZAPPED our strength.
That was the ZENITH for us!

So we said...let's ZIP up to the mountains and find some relief.

We saw this lovely tree with a lone blossom on it.
I haven't a clue what it is but I thought it was pretty.

On our way to the mountains we took a side road and walked
an easy trail by a stream.
This lamp pole caught my eye.
It's rather ZANY looking the way it's tipping.

As we looked for any  ZEPHYR of a breeze we found this
pretty little lake.

If you enlarge this shot you can see one tiny cloud above the forest
ZONE.

All the sweating and hot temperatures called for some delicious
ice cream.
It really got our ZEST back.....

The Pine forests were full of ZIG ZAG fences.

I'm glad the temperatures have come down and our energy
isn't ZAPPED any more.

Make sure you ZOOM over to my sidebar link to see what
others have posted for the letter " Z ".

Yikes, will your air conditioner even keep up with temps like that? That red flower is out of this world gorgeous!!

That flower gave me a zesty bit of cool. It reminded me of some delicious gelato on a November day in Florence, Italy. Glad a little zip has replaced the zap!

Zippity, Doo Dah...You did it. And you did it well too.

I just couldn't finish the round. But I'm excited to start a new round. Wonder what I can come up with for "A".

A fine job of Zee Alphabet once again. Those ice cream cones made me drool and the mention of a warm breeze made me smile - one of my cats is named Zephyr.

Wonderful and great Z words. The red flower looks stunning.
Thanks for your visit.
Yes zoos are necessary for the endangered species to keep at least a few of them alive.

Ice cream has a way of renewing our zest-looks yummy. The trip up the mountains looks cooling. We are over 100 degrees today and we have tickets to an outdoor theater tonight, I think it will be anything BUT refreshing.

So love the beautiful flower! No idea what it is, but it's just beautiful! And the leaning post made me smile! Even the lamp seems to be a little out of line! Such character!

So many good Z words. You are simply astonishing! The red flower looks like the ones on what we call the flame tree. It is like the Jacaranda only red instead of blue.

Ice cream - or galato that's what we ate whenever we got the chance when we were in Lucca, Italy.
