So true. We visited Biloxi (MS) National Cemetery today. Seeing all those headstones of individuals was an emotional reminder of their service to our country.

You are absolutely correct. Freedom is a precious value. My sympathy to the families of all soldiers in all wars who have lost loved ones. And many thanks to those who have served.
Very appropriate post. No freedom is definitely not free. We watched the Memorial Day Concert at the Whitehouse on TV. It was great, but my favorite was Alphie Boe singing "Bring Him Home". Very moving.
