ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " O "

In my OPINION each week presents its OWN set of particular
challenges.

The letter " O " is definitely ONE  OF those.

The first photo is a River OTTER.

The picture was taken at the Nimbus Fish Hatchery this past
weekend.

The OTTERS can be found along the American and the Sacramento
Rivers,
especially during the spawning season.

A word to the wise...ONLY cast members are allowed where the
prickly cactus grows.

If you enlarge these photos you will see the detail more clearly.

It looks like these OLD-FASHIONED dancing shoes still have
a lot  OF  "Swing"  left in them.

I don't think ONE needs to be an OLD-TIMER to appreciate
their charm.

Lastly, in my ODD collection OF photos, we find a lot OF very
ORANGE rust.

OVER-ALL, finding words starting with " O " wasn't as difficult
as I thought it would be.

I want to take this OPPORTUNITY to thank Denise Nesbitt and
Roger (and the entire ABC Wednesday group) for their dilligent
work every week.

OH yes,

go OVER to the ABC link ON my sidebar to see what
OTHERS have posted for the letter " O ".

The photo of the OLD-FASHIONED shoes makes me recall all the wonderful OLD movies of Fred Astaire. Kate, ABC Team

I love old fashioned. Just saw the movie "42" which is awesome but one of the things I loved was seeing the old trains, cars and buses and reliving some of the nicer things of the past.

Great post. Have a great week.

I was watching one of David Attenborough's videos while waiting at the optometrists the other day and they had a lovely segment on otters. I saw sea otters when we went up to Alaska a number of years ago. Such cute faces -- but probably not so cute in disposition if you get too near.

When my daughter was little she loved otters. We used to see them in the river occasionally.
