EMPTY BOWLS

My Hubby and I just finished volunteering at the 3rd annual
Empty Bowls event for the Placer Food Bank.

This Fundraiser is a Simple Meal so others can Simply Eat.

Food and artfully crafted bowls were donated by organizations
and people in the local community.

For every dollar given, $17.00 worth of food can be given
to a family in need.

Our country's economical downturn has created so many
that need some assistance filling their stomachs.

We were proud to be involved in such a worthy cause.

What a creative way to raise support for those who need assistance. And volunteers such as you and Hubby help make that assistance a reality. And the photo was an enjoyable study in geometry and color.
