ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " G "

We have arrived at the letter" G " in our journey through the
alphabet.
GUESS
what this first photo is?
I think it looks like a Dr. Seuss Dragon.
GIVE me your wild answer too.
With your GREAT imagination it shouldn't be too hard.

I love the creative details I find at Disneyland.

GOT  GAS ?

The vintage GAS pumps are intriguing and GAVE me another
" G " post picture to share .

While at the airport in Southern California last month, I saw this
interesting GRAPHIC displayed on the wall.
I GUESS they eliminated some of the letters to keep people from
reproducing it and claiming it was an original vintage stamp.

Make sure you enlarge this shot to really see the GOSSAMER wings
and the GLINT of the dragonfly's body.
While I was sitting at a table this little GUY landed on a hat and
just posed for his portrait.
GO over to the ABC link on my sidebar to GAZE at what other
bloggers GIVEN for their letter " G ".

What a Gorgeous collection of colors. Each photo sets me pondering the story that accompanies it. I enjoyed them all, but especially appreciated that you included details of the how and where of the dragonfly. These images were definitely worth an extra click to see them enlarged!

As always, you have wonderful and creative photos, Sue. I actually see the capital letter G on the left side clump of clouds. But if you see a Dr. Seuss dragon, don't forget that you therefore have another G.. Theodore Geisel.

The dragonfly shot is amazing!! I see a dragon breathing white smoke in the sky photo. How did I miss the post below? I love the small bird doing gymnastics to get at the seed pod!

Great choices for G - I remember when stamps were 5 cents, - I even remember when they were 3 cents (sigh) Dragon fly is beautiful - I have always thought the word 'gossamer' was terrible romantic, too.

I always thought it would be fun to own an old gas pump for my garden. Love the gas signs--bright colors too.
