JANUARY IN MY BACKYARD

Even though the yard looks dull and lifeless, there really is a lot
going on.
All one needs to do is look.
I see lots of fascinating detail in the moss growing on the cement
planter blocks.
Please ENLARGE the photos to see this yourself.

Our Sycamore Gum tree still has it's Christmas "ornaments".

New life is beginning to poke its head out on a chilly morning.

Eventually these will become beautiful leaves and hopefully fruit.
Thanks for looking.

I hope it won't get cold and kill them? I would love to see these exact same pictures when they are in full bloom, you could do a side by side.

I like the bud photos. I honestly cannot think of seeing someone take photos of buds emerging. Nicely done.

Great pictures, Sue.. I've been in your back yard, and hope to sit in those lawn chairs again come nice weather.

It is amazing what you have found in a "lifeless" winter backyard! Good job.
